embellishing. Hand-signed in ink lower left on the bottom panel (an
edition without hand-embellishing consisting of 950 Arabic numbered
examples, 140 Arabic numbered European artist proofs, 140 Arabic
numbered artist proofs, 140 Arabic numbered hors commerce proofs, 140
Arabic numbered printer proofs, and 3 Arabic numbered bon a tirer
proofs also exists).
The artist has commented that this work was partially inspired by
Jesse Colin Young’s “Miss Hesitation” and T Bone Walker’s “T–Bone
Shuffle”. Lyrics from both songs have been incorporated into the
work:
