Our appreciation for art, much like fine wine, comes from its power to bring personality, presence, and meaning to the spaces we live with every day.
Kerja Gallery exists to make meaningful art more approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding to collect. We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of original works and editions, presented with clarity, integrity, and fair pricing, so buyers at every stage can discover pieces that bring personality, presence, and lasting value to the spaces they live with every day.
At Kerja Gallery, we believe art should feel personal. It should do more than fill a wall — it should add atmosphere, character, and connection to a space. Our approach is built around the idea that collecting art does not need to feel intimidating or overly formal. We believe buyers deserve clear information, honest representation, and pricing that makes sense. Whether someone is acquiring a first piece or adding to an established collection, the experience should feel straightforward, welcoming, and worthwhile. We are drawn to artwork with visual impact, individuality, and staying power — pieces that hold attention, start conversations, and continue to resonate over time. In that way, we see art much like fine wine: something to be appreciated, lived with, and valued for the depth and character it brings to everyday life. Everything we do is guided by a few core principles: thoughtful curation over clutter transparency over sales pressure accessibility without sacrificing quality service that is knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable Our goal is not simply to sell artwork. It is to help people discover pieces they genuinely want to live with — art that feels right for their space, their taste, and their collection.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Jeroen and Kertreena Reidel, Kerja Gallery grew from a shared appreciation for art, design, and the way meaningful work can transform a space. Their vision for the gallery developed through years of collecting, studying, and living with art, along with Kertreena’s past work as an artist representative, which helped shape a deeper understanding of artists, collectors, and the experience of presenting art thoughtfully. What began as a personal passion and a growing collection gradually became the next natural step: creating a gallery that would allow them to share that passion with others. Today, Kerja Gallery offers a carefully curated selection of original works and editions, chosen for quality, visual impact, and character. The gallery’s approach is rooted in transparency, thoughtful presentation, and a genuine respect for the buyer. Whether someone is purchasing a first piece or adding to an established collection, the goal is to make the process feel clear, enjoyable, and confident. That commitment was tested in 2024 when Hurricane Milton devastated the gallery. Even so, Jeroen and Kertreena were able to salvage, regroup, and move forward with a renewed sense of purpose. Kerja Gallery now continues as an appointment-only gallery in a purposely designed bungalow, creating a more intimate and intentional setting for experiencing the collection. At its core, Kerja Gallery is about sharing artwork that brings personality, presence, and meaning into everyday spaces. We invite you to explore the collection online or schedule a private appointment to experience Kerja Gallery in a more personal setting.
